Our Veterinarians

Dr. Laura Hall Haro

Dr. Laura Hall Haro is a 2010 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. She was born in Augusta, GA, was raised in Thomasville and returned home to practice veterinary medicine in 2010. Dr. Hall is a member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association. She has a special interest in small animal surgery.

Dr. Hall Haro is married to Steven Haro and they have a son named Jace and a daughter named Riley. They also live with their two four-legged children, an Australian Shepard named Ulee and a Yorkshire Terrier named Lincoln. In her spare time, Dr. Hall Haro enjoys playing disc golf, jogging and hiking with Ulee and spending time with family and friends. She also volunteers for the Plantation Wildlife Festival.

Dr. Dale Hodges

Dr. Hodges was born in Blackshear, GA and graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. He's an active member of the Rotary Club of Thomasville and is the District 2 Director of the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association. He has special interest in large animal medicine, sports medicine and enjoys working with hunting dogs.

Dr. Hodges is married to Susan Hodges and has a daughter and a granddaughter. He shares his home with a mixed breed dog named Sampson and an English Cocker named Chap. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting and spending time with family.

Dr. Brent Kinsey

Dr. Brent Kinsey was born and raised in Thomasville, Georgia. He graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a special interest in surgery.

Dr. Kinsey is married to his wife, Alexis, and they have a son named Samuel. They also have an English Cocker Spaniel named Scout and yellow Lab named Jake. When he’s not working, Dr. Kinsey enjoys reading, hunting and fishing.

Dr. Beckey Malphus

Dr. Beckey was born and raised in Douglas, GA. She graduated from The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 and has been practicing here ever since. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary practice, but has special interests in Reproduction, Onocology and Geriatrics.

Dr. Beckey has been a member of the Georgia Board of Veterinary Medicine since 2005 and served as President in 2008. She serves on the Legislative Action Committee for the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association and is the past President of the American Association of Veterinary State Boards. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. She has been a very active member of Thomasville-Thomas County Humane Society and served in various board roles. She is a long standing committee member of the Thomasville Center for the Arts and chaired the 2011 Plantation Wildlife Arts Festival. Dr. Beckey was named Humanitarian of the Year in 2003 by Thomasville-Thomas County Chamber of Commerce. She was named Georgia Veterinarian Of The Year in 2010 by the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Beckey has laborador retrievers that she loves to hunt with and competes in AKC Hunt Tests. She also has 3 chihuahuas and 2 cats.

Dana

Practice Manager

Dana was born in Lakeland, GA and moved to Thomasville,GA in 1998. She graduated from Thomas County Central High Scool in 2004. Dana joined our hospital family in August of 2003. She enjoys spending most of her spare time with her daughter, Taylor and husband, Michael. She enjoyes hunting and fishing. Dana has 5 dogs.

Linzy

Receptionist

Linzy has been a part of our team since January 2019. She was promoted to Kennel Supervisor this year. She has been married to her loving and supportive husband for 15 years and together, they have two furbabies. When not working, Linzy enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends, going out on the boat, fishing, hunting, baking and reading.

Gabi

Receptionist

Gabi grew up in Thomasville and joined our team in April of 2017. She has 6 dogs, 2 donkeys and a horse. She plays the clarinet and pickle ball, loves riding horses and spending time with family.

Suzanne

Receptionist

Suzanne was born in Thomasville. She traveled around the southeast before coming back home in 2015. Suzanne joined our team February of 2020. She has 2 Frenchies and 1 Chihuahua mix. She enjoys reading, photography and spending time with friends and family.

Nicki

RVT

Nicki was born in Atwater, California and has moved through many states, but came to Pidcock, GA in 2005 where she also joined our team July of this same year. She graduated from St. Petersburg College in 2002 with her Associates Degree in Science. She has two daughters, Gracie and Joslin. She has two dogs, Cashew and Big Momma. Nicki enjoys hunting, fishing, working in her garden and spending time with her family.

Megan

Veterinary Assistant

Megan was born in Milton, FL but grew up in Thomasville. She is a 2009 Honor Graduate of TCCHS and studied Animal Science at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. She joined our team in April 2014. She has 3 dogs and a horse. In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, photography and competing in various dog sports, including dock diving and agility.

Amanda

Veterinary Assistant

Amanda Prince was born and raised on a farm in Whigham, GA. She joined our team in May of 2015. She lives with her husband, Collie, and they have 2 daughters and a son as well as 3 dogs and a herd of cattle. She enjoys spending time with her family, hunting and fishing.

Emily

Veterinary Assistant

Emily was born and raised in Thomasville, GA. She joined CMH as a kennel tech in August 2020 and has recently become one of our veterinary assistants. Emily is currently in school for RVT at SRTC. She has 2 mixed breed dogs. When she isn't working or studying, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and traveling.
