Becky joined Clanton-Malphus-Hodges Veterinary Hospital in January of 2013. She received her MBA from Brenau University in Atlanta in 1995. She is also an adjunct instructor in the Veterinary Technology Program at FAMU. Becky's family include her husband Bob, son, Kevin, her daughter, Mallory, a son-in-law named Craig and a granddaughter named Harper. Her 4-legged children are Lucy (maltese), Bandit (spitz), and cats Mr. Magoo and Herbie. She lives in Tallahassee and attends the Episcopal Church of the Advent.
Bonnie K. grew up in New Albany, Mississippi. Her education includes 2 years at Northeast Junior College and 1 year at Ole Miss. She moved to Thomasville, GA in 1989 with her husband, Johnny, who is a dog trainer for Boston Place. Bonnie K became one of our Receptionists in March of 1991. She has 1 son, Ed and 1 daughter, Tonya. Her 4 grand boys are her pride and joy! Logan, Brice, Griffin and Will. She has a cockapoo named Noah, an english cocker named Amos and 2 Tennessee Walking Horses, Bandit and Patton. Bonnie K enjoys deer and turkey hunting, traveling, working in her yard and spending time with her grand boys.
Dana was born in Lakeland, GA and moved to Thomasville,GA in 1998. She graduated from Thomas County Central High Scool in 2004. Dana joined our hospital family in August of 2003. She enjoys spending most of her spare time with her daughter, Taylor and husband, Michael. She enjoyes hunting and fishing. Dana has 6 dogs.
Our friend and co-worker Fred passed away in April of 2014. Taken from us too young, he is missed by many! Fred grew up on one of the many plantations in Thomasville,GA, where his father was the dog trainer. He started working for Dr. Clanton in February of 1992 as a Kennel Assistant. Fred moved to Kennel Manager and then worked as a Veterinary Assistant.
Hope was born in Thomasville, Ga and grew up in Cairo, GA. She was a 1992 honor graduate of Cairo High School. Hope began working as a groomer/bather in March of 1995 and later became a Veterinary Technician in October of 2007. She passed the VTNE in 2005 and received her Veterinary Technician Registration. Hope has 2 children, Jess and Bryson. She also has 3 dogs, 10 horses, chickens, rabbits and 2 cows. Hope enjoys riding horses, flower gardening and spending time with her family.
Nolen was born in Thomasville, but lives in Pavo, GA. He graduated from Thomas County Central High School in 2001. Nolen began working as a Kennel Assistant in April of 2002, but presently works as a Veterinary Assistant and our Bather. He enjoys hunting and spending time with his family. His pets are named: Banjo,Tink, Lady, Masy and Bella.
Nicki was born in Atwater, California and has moved through many states, but came to Pidcock, GA in 2004. She graduated from St. Petersburg College in 2002 with her Associates Degree in Science. Nicki and her husband, Travis, have two daughters, Gracie and Joslin. She has a dog named Marble. Nicki enjoys hunting, fishing, working in her garden and spending time with her family.
Megan is a Thomas County Central High graduate and has taken classes at both ABAC and TCC. She enjoys horseback riding and photography. She has two horses, Storm and Hemi and two dogs, Rex and Sadie.
Ashley worked with us a few years ago before she moved out of state. She's now a student at FSU and works part time. When she's not working or in class, she enjoys competing at horseback events and travelling. She has a Border Collie mix named Bella and a Chestnut TB gelding named Quantum.
Amanda joined our team in May of 2015 and comes to us with over a decade of experience as a Veterinary Assistant. In her spare time she enjoys spending time on the family farm, hunting and fishing with her children and boyfriend. She has two dogs named Blue and Monster.
Tanner joined our team in the summer of 2015 after graduating from Thomas County Central High as a kennel technician. He enjoys playing guitar and piano at his church and has a dog named Digby.
Taylor became part of the Clanton Malphus Hodges team in March of 2016. She's currently enrolled i the Veterinary Technician program at Southern Regional Technical College. She has 3 dogs named Jake, Sam and Bellamy and a cat named Annabella. She enjoys spending time with her family and pets, reading and going to movies.
Amber joined us after her husband was transferred to the area from North Georgia. She has a diploma in Criminal Justice and has some interesting tales to tell from her prior employment. She lives in Cairo with her husband Tommy and daughter Alexandria. She enjoys reading, weight lifting and family time.
Carli graduated from YTI Career Institute with an Associate in Specialized Technology Degree - Veterinary Technician. She enjoys taking her dog, Leo, to the beach, riding horses and dirt bikes and spending time with her family. She also has a cat named Trevor.
Lynn joined our team in June of 2016 with many years of experience. She's a graduate of Colquitt High School. She has a son named Kaden, 4 dogs named Deja, Noles, Kemp and Minnie. She also has a cat named AB. In her spare time she enjoys watching her son play ball, shopping and spending time with family.
Amber graduated from Thomas County Central High in 2015 and is currently studying Veterinary Technology at Southern Regional Technical College. She enjoys volunteer work and spending time with her family.
Neil is a student at Valdosta State University and joined our team in June of 2016. He enjoys fishing, hunting and playing outdoor sports. He has five dogs - Daisy, Honey, Tiger, Chacha and Tango.
Haley graduated from Lower Lake High School in 2010 and moved to Georgia from Northern California in March of 2015. She likes to spend her free time with her family, her boyfriend, gardening, fishing and going to church. She plans to attend nursing school in the future. She has a terrier mix named Miley and a labrador mix named Cali.
Kemi is a student at Thomas University studying Biology. She would like attend veterinary school in the future and specialize in exotic animals. She enjoys playing basketball and shoe shopping! She has a pointer mix named Jordan KD Ashimi.
Gabi joined our team after being a work study student from Scholars Academy.
She plans to attend Armstrong State in Savannah this fall. She enjoys spending time with friends and family and volunteering at Hands and Hearts for Horses. Gabi's family has a dachsund named Heidi, a german shepherd named Windy and two chinchillas named Daisy & Delilah.
Kylie is an artist with a passion for animals. She is enrolled at Southern Regional Veterinary Technician program. She has 3 cats named Boo, Penny & Suki and a chihuahua named Livvy. Kylie enjoys painting and kayaking in her spare time.
